PetSafe invites the community and four-legged companions to celebrate new dog park’s grand opening!

What: Celebrating Knoxville’s new Concord Dog Park, PetSafe, along with Knox County Parks and Recreation, is pleased to host the grand opening of the Concord Dog Park. As Mayor Tim Burchett and Randy Boyd, CEO of PetSafe, officially open the park, the community is invited to attend and enjoy light refreshments and dog bones for furry friends.
Designed specifically for canine companions, dog-friendly features within the approximately four-acre park include separate large and small dog play areas, paved ADA-accessible trails, stone and grass run areas, a dog swimming area with a jumping dock and access ramps, and a dog wash station.
“We are thrilled to be a part of the opening of another local dog park for residents and their pets to enjoy,” said Jim Tedford, Director of Animal Welfare Initiatives and Alliances. “This new dog park has some really great features for dogs of all sizes and we hope the community will head down with their dogs and join in as we celebrate the grand opening.”
